CELEBRITY ORGAN CONCERT

(Birmingham City Organist)
Virtuoso concert organist Thomas Trotter plays a popular programme, including works by Bach, Schumann, Wagner, Coates and Leroy Anderson – not to be missed.

A new feature this year is that our organ concerts will feature big screen projection of the player at the console. All concerts take place in the Quire of the Cathedral.

Featuring the South of England Festival Chorus, Canzonetta, The Farnham Youth Choir and the South of England Festival Orchestra

Conductor - Jeffrey Wynn Davies

The Salisbury Vespers, given its world premiere in Salisbury Cathedral in May 2009, is Bob Chilcott's most substantial work to date.  It forms the centrepiece of this Cathedral Cities programme.

The South of England Festival Chorus is a large choir of singers drawn from throughout the UK.  It is joined by the Manchester-based Canzonetta Chamber Choir )a former BBC Sainsbury's Choir of the Year) and the Farnham Youth Choir.
