The dedicated restorers have completed their work and the Presbytery is now returned to the glory of former years. The tour concentrates on this area providing the historical background, as well as details of the conservation where possible, looking at the mortuary chests, Presbytery wooden vault, bosses, great screen and the great east window. Most of the original work was by Bishop Fox (1501-1528), including his chantry chapel which was completed 500 years ago this year.
Tickets: £12.50 (plus 75p per ticket booking fee, capped at £5). Includes tea or coffee and cake taken in the Cathedral Refectory after the tour.
