Join us for Thy Kingdom Come 2019, an ecumenical global wave of prayer encouraging Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost (Thursday 30th May - Sunday 9th June) for more people to know Jesus Christ.
Churches of all traditions and denominations across Hampshire are participating in a Novena ‚Äď a focus of nine days of prayer between Ascension Day and Pentecost. Prayer stations will be set up in the Cathedral's Lady Chapel during this time.

The Beacon service on Sunday 9th June brings together Christians of all ages from different churches across the region to worship the risen and ascended Jesus, to pray the prayer of Pentecost¬†‚ÄėCome¬†Holy Spirit', and pray that others will come to know Jesus Christ.
Doors open from 6.30pm
Worship from 7.00pm
Service from 7.30pm - 9.00pm
We are delighted to announce that the speaker for this year's service will be¬†¬†Amy Orr-Ewing.
This is a standing service however seating will be made available for those who prefer not to stand. Seating is available on a first come first serve basis and for those who need it most.
All Christian denominations welcome.
Tickets are not required for this event but please make sure to express an interest in this event on the Thy Kingdom Come Beacon Service 2019 Facebook event in case arrangements need to be made for high volumes of worshippers.
