The Library and Triforium Gallery

The Library and Triforium GalleryThe Winchester Bible is the finest of all the great 12th-century Bibles. Its illuminations, coloured in gold and lapis lazuli, are as intense today as they ever were.

The Morley Library houses two 17th-century globes, one showing California as an island, as well as a fine collection of printed books.

The Triforium Gallery includes beautiful statuary from the 15th-century choir screen and a Saxon bowl reputed to have once contained the heart of King Canute.
