A fun-packed weekend celebrating Harvest and farming, but also exploring the impact of climate change and how it is affecting us on a daily basis and what we are doing within the local community to address it.
New for this year, we have a Big Top marquee, sponsored by the University of Winchester, which will host talks and displays from the university, Sparsholt College, WinAcc, Bee Inspired Project, Green Week and many more; all of whom are working towards a more sustainable future. Bees are a key focus and Winchester School of Art are making a giant bee from recycled products to go on the front of the Cathedral.
There will be lots to do, you can enjoy farm animals, falconry displays, tractors and a Hampshire Fare market. Plenty of local food and drink will be available for all to enjoy.
This is a free event. All are welcome.
You are also warmly invited to join us for our special services on Sunday 6 October as we celebrate Harvest Festival:
