On the Tuesday of Holy Week, the Cathedral Chamber Choir again lead us in a candlelit sequence of music and readings for Holy Week, based this year on around the war diary of Edward Thomas, with poetry by Thomas and A.E. Housman. Including music by Gesualdo, Gibbons, Weelkes, Pearsall, Stanford and Hubert Parry's "At the round earth's imagined corners", in the year that sees the 100th anniversary of that composer's death.
The evening is directed by George Castle, with Alexandra Mayson and Canon Brian Rees as readers.
Admission is free but a collection will be taken.
