First World War Tour and Tea – The Poetry and the Passion.

We called it hell - they called it Passendale..." In 1917 , when the war intensified,we remember the horrors, the conflicts and the victories as we visit all parts of the Cathedral - from the Crypt to the Bell ringing Chamber in the roof. Be prepared - 129 steps to climb! The tour will last 90 mins with a cream tea afterwards and time to talk.

Tickets: £12.50 (plus 75p per ticket booking fee, capped at £5) Includes tea or coffee and cake taken in the Cathedral Refectory after the tour, available online or by phone on 01962857 275. Monday to Friday 10.30am - 4pm, Saturday 11am - 3pm, closed Sundays and bank holidays.
