Children’s Mental Health Week

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week and Emma, our Safeguarding lead, has provided more information on the week itself, as well as some links that you, or someone you know, may find helpful.

As you may have seen on Sunday, the Duchess of Cambridge spoke, as Royal Patron of Place2Be, about the importance of marking this week. To read the message from The Duchess of Cambridge, click here.

The Duchess commented on the importance of adult mental health too. “And while this is Children’s Mental Health Week, there has never been a more important time to talk about parental wellbeing and mental health too… This is a hugely challenging time for us all so please look after yourself too.”

The charity Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
