An unusual decorated terracotta tile, with a spiral design incorporating text by medieval mystic Julian of Norwich.
Julian of Norwich was an anchorite who had a series of visions which (remarkably for a medieval woman) she wrote down, most famously published today as Revelations of Divine Love. In her prayers and meditations she assures us that through the love of God ?All shall be well and all shall be well and all manner of thing(s) shall be well…?
An optimistic message, which can be displayed on the wall to give a sense of hope and reassurance.
