An appealing plaque featuring the cheerful face of a ?Green Man?, surrounded by lovely, detailed foliage.
Believed to represent growth and rebirth, the Green Man is a motif that appears regularly in both churches and secular buildings across Europe. Spotting carvings of the Green Man in capitals, bosses and misericords is a thoroughly enjoyable pastime (see our Books department to find out more?).
The sculpture is weatherproof, and would look wonderful in its natural, outdoors habitat. There?s a hole in the back of the plaque for easy hanging.
Designed and made in England using resin-bonded Cotswold and Portland stone.
