COVID-19 update: The cathedral is not currently open for general visits or tours but remains open for private prayer and reflection 11-3pm (1pm-3pm on Sundays). An attractive and unusual coaster with a delicate medieval petal design.
It was handmade in Kent using traditional methods. The design was carved on a wooden block, and a clay impression made. This was then filled with ?slip? (a mixture of clay and water) and left to dry before firing in a kiln.
