Stained glass roundel ?Angel Gabriel? is a detail taken from one of the Cathedral?s most-loved windows, the pre-Raphaelite Annunciation window in the Epiphany Chapel.
The window was designed by Edward Burne-Jones, and made in the famous William Morris workshops.
The modern-day Gabriel was hand-made by Winged Heart in their small studio in Cumbria, using traditional methods. The glass is framed in traditional lead and hung with a trace chain, perfect for hanging above a window to let the natural light stream through it.
The roundel comes presented in an attractive gift box.
