Learning Zone

School visits, activities and teacher resources

Winchester Cathedral welcomes up to 20,000 children and students on educational visits each year. We run activities for groups at all stages of the curriculum, led by our Director of Learning and our Learning Officer, supported by a team of experienced volunteers.

School visits to the Cathedral

We welcome children and students of all ages and levels to explore themes across the curriculum. We never take a one-size-fits-all approach to visits – each group has its own learning targets and needs. Please email Emma Bourner, our Director of Learning (emma.bourner@winchester-cathedral.org.uk), to discuss what you would like from your visit.

Adult Education

Learning never ends. Join us in our varied adult education programme as we aim to enrich and develop a deeper understanding of faith. Find out more.
