Summer family craft workshops
DATE & TIME
5th, 13th and 28th August 2025Location
North Transept of Winchester CathedralPrice
£5 adult/ £5 childBooking
Book online, call 01962 857 275 or book in-person at the Box Office inside Winchester CathedralTaking place on various dates throughout August, each week’s craft activity will have a brand new theme and is based on mythical creatures found in the Cathedral.
At the end of the session you’ll have created your own souvenir and enjoyed a story time in the beautiful surroundings of the cathedral’s North Transept.
We have planned for this activity to last an hour, which includes time for an introduction, time to listen to a story and time to wash hands at the end. We understand that some children may be finished before the end of the session, so if you wish to leave before the end, that is not a problem.
Please note that activities are subject to change.
All workshops are suitable for ages 3-11.
If you have any questions please contact Emma Bourner, Director of Learning: emma.bourner@winchester-cathedral.org.uk

With regard to the workshops, we are huge fans! They are great value for money, a fun and well organised session which is led by lovely helpful ladies! I really wouldn’t change a thing about them, the location is fab and cosy. We love attending and will definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for future sessions of which we hope there will be many more!Previous craft workshop atendee

It was very well planned with lots of materials to use. I liked the mix of creative craft work and calm story time. It was also nice to come away with a successful finished product which was achievable for all the children there. Both my grandaughter and I enjoyed it and we will be back for more in the summer.Previous craft workshop atendee
