It offers them the chance to develop their singing, explore different kinds of music, and perform regularly at Winchester Cathedral.
The Youth Choir rehearse on Tuesday evenings (7–8:15pm) in the Cathedral’s Undercroft.
There is no audition to join — we are open to all those who are enthusiastic about singing.
This is a wonderful way to be part of the Cathedral’s musical life.
For instance, we:
- Sing services and concerts at Winchester Cathedral and beyond
- Do regular social activities, including meals out and team-building games
- Offer singing tuition in a whole group settings
The choir is an excellent opportunity to make new friends, build confidence, and feel a sense of belonging.
We make sure that everyone feels included, inspired, and supported to develop their singing.
