The Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market plans to open at the later time of 1.00pm on Saturday 7th December, subject to weather conditions.
In the event that the weather does not improve, The Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market may need to remain closed.
Please check here before you travel for the latest updates, as the weather can change at short notice.
Upon reopening, traders at the Christmas Market have the option to open or close at their discretion and it’s not guaranteed that 100% of chalets will be open.
Stage performances have been cancelled.
The Cathedral, Gift Shop and Cafe will remain open as planned, you can find more information on opening times for these locations here.
The Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market plans to resume normal opening times from Sunday 8th December, opening times can be found here.
We will continue to measure the weather updates and warnings and will release further updates if required.
