The programme includes Finzi’s shimmering In Terra Pax as well as Vaughan Williams’ much loved Fantasia on Christmas carols. The first half will include Dvorak’s tuneful Mass in D setting which conjures up the hills, valleys, woods and rivers of Dvorak’s homeland.
The London Mozart Players will be conducted by the Cathedral’s own Director of Music, Andrew Lumsden and will add their own special Christmas contribution to an enticing festive programme. Please note that the cathedral’s digital screens will be in use for this concert, to enable a better view for those not seated at the front.
