Welcome to Learning at Winchester Cathedral.Winchester Cathedral is a unique and stimulating learning environment.
The scale, grandeur, and history of the building and its collections provide a wealth of content by which to explore almost any topic. A ‘one-stop-shop’ for learning and understanding!
The cathedral is focused upon enquiry led learning, where every young person participates in a journey as they explore one or more topics (The Anglo Saxons; Faith & Philosophy; the Environment). Each topic is participatory, authentic, and memorable – with multiple applications across the National Curriculum.
Visits are enhanced through access to extensive classroom resources which extend and enrich the National Curriculum.
