We offer a range of guided tours and workshops led by the Learning Team to create a flexible day for those educated at home.
Please contact us to find out more about what we offer for the age ranges you wish to bring and we can plan your day together.

To ensure that you have the best day possible, please let us know if any of the children or adults you are bringing with you have learning differences and access requirements so that we can ensure that everything is set up and prepared for you in advance.

If you book a workshop with us in our Learning Centre there are multiple toilets for you to use while you are with us. The Learning Centre is accessible with access toilets and a medical room.

Those Educated at Home Self-Led Visits

You are welcome to visit the Cathedral without any delivery on the day from the Learning Team however, please be aware that all self-led tours must still be booked into the Cathedral diary via the Learning Team in advance of your visit. This is to ensure that the Cathedral is open on the day you plan to visit and we can also advise of any events happening inside the Cathedral. This is especially important for children or adults with sensory needs in case there is anything loud happening on that day such as organ practice, repair works or stage set up that we can advise you on.

If you would like to book a base room or a lunch space without a delivered workshop or tour led by the Learning Team, this will be charged separately. There is a wheelchair lift inside the Cathedral. Please let us know if you will need to use it as part of your trip so we can ensure a Virger is available to operate it for you.
