Visiting the Mortuary Chests

The mortuary chests are located in the Presbytery of Winchester Cathedral, with chests on the north and south side of the presbytery aisles. Access to Quire is included in your annual pass, which you can book in advance and save £1pp or simply purchase upon arrival to the cathedral. If you have trouble locating the mortuary chests please don’t hesitate to ask a member of the cathedral team, we’d be happy to direct you.
