This weekend the Cathedral welcomes back the Choral Foundation and Junior Choir to rehearsals and services. Chapter and the Music & Liturgy team, are looking forward to a new term, continuing the wonderful tradition of choral music, with a large number of special services and events to contribute to.

There have been a couple of staff changes in the team over the summer months – Claudia Grinnell has been appointed to a new position of Sub-Organist.   

At the close of last term we bid farewell to William Kendall and a new (bass) Lay Clerk will be appointed soon.  

This term we say goodbye to George Castle, Assistant Director of Music who will complete his work at the Cathedral towards the end of September.  We shall be recruiting for a second Sub-Organist to work alongside Andy Lumsden and Claudia Grinnell soon.  

We want to take this opportunity to thank George for his several years of dedicated service and, on our behalf, to wish him the very best for the future.  In due course, there will be a card available to sign for those who would like to in No.9 Reception, and a collection.
