We are delighted to announce that Paris Smith LLP has renewed its business partnership with Winchester Cathedral for a third consecutive year.
The team at Paris Smith remains deeply invested in their connection with Winchester. As committed business partners, they engage with us throughout the year, gaining a richer understanding of daily life at the Cathedral and supporting our mission in meaningful ways.
In 2025 Paris Smith once again sponsored the Cathedral Christmas Market—an event that generates vital income for our work. Thanks to their support, we were able to expand our environmental initiatives by investing in a second solar panel and new water bowsers. While used during the market to light the Christmas tree and supply water to chalets, the bowsers will now be handed over to our gardens team to help transport harvested rainwater where it is needed most. The solar panels will also be relocated onsite to continue providing sustainable energy across the Cathedral grounds.
We were pleased to welcome Managing Partner Huw Miles, Danielle Taylor (Partner, family team), and Marketing Director Helen Freeston to switch on the Christmas tree lights, joined by the Winchester Cathedral Girl Choristers and staff of Winchester Cathedral
Paris Smith is rightly proud of its 200-year history. In 2025, the firm opened a new office in Bournemouth and was recognised in The Times “Best Law Firms” list for excellence in corporate and commercial law.
They joined the Cathedral community for our carol service, marking a fitting close to another successful year of collaboration.
We are grateful for the energy, enthusiasm, and commitment the team at Paris Smith brings to every partnership initiative, and we thank them for renewing their support for 2026.
Thank you to everyone at Paris Smith LLP, and to all our business partners.
