On Monday, it was announced Revd Canon Chris Palmer will become Dean of Winchester in March 2026. Details of Canon Chris’ installation will be released at a later date.
Following the announcement, Canon Chris spent the day meeting the cathedral community, including; members of the congregation, staff, volunteers, choristers, and representative from The Winchester Beacon. Canon Chris finished his day at a festive Christmas Evensong where the cathedral prayed for him and his family for a smooth transition into his new role
