Second National Lockdown

Second national lockdown – latest information

We know a second lockdown is going to be difficult, but we’re working hard to be here for you in new ways, along with reinstating activities from the first lockdown. Regular updates will be given below and on our social media channels.

Individual prayer and reflection

The cathedral will be open from 11am-3pm every day for private prayer and reflection. Everyone is welcome.
Opening times may change and please check online before visiting.

Visiting the Cathedral

From Thursday 5 November, the cathedral building will be closed for touring, but there will be lots you can get involved with online. You will also be very welcome to come to the building between 11am-3pm for individual prayer or to take a moment of quiet reflection in the cathedral nave.

Public Worship and Services

In line with government guidance, public Services cannot go ahead during lockdown, however we will be broadcasting services over the Winchester Cathedral livestream and hope that you will join us online.
See the Cathedral Service livestream page for more details.

Zoom Fellowship

Meet and talk with others and members of the clergy in this regular Zoom fellowship. Held every day except Tuesdays and Thursdays, everyone is warmly welcome.
Find out how to join Zoom Fellowship here.

Daily reflections

Daily reflections will be returning online from 5 November and throughout the lockdown. These can be reached on our website, Facebook page or YouTube channel
