We welcome keen amateur choirs to contribute to the worshipping life of the cathedral. We have opportunities for visiting choirs to sing services during school breaks whilst the cathedral’s resident choirs are away.

Winchester Cathedral welcomes parish church choirs, amateur chamber choirs, and other groups to contribute to our worshipping life — singing at services when our choirs are away. We look forward to welcoming the following choirs to sing in July and August:

23 July Coro Louisville

(also giving informal concert at 1.00pm, entry included with a valid annual pass)

26–27 July Quorum

2 August English Choir Berlin

3 August Choir of St Peter’s Church, St Albans

11 August Waynflete Singers

12–14 August Choir of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin

15–17 August Kingsbury Singers

18–20 & 22–24 August Colne Singers

21 August Choral Scholars of St James’ Church, Piccadilly

25–31 August Damian Singers
