Can I take photos and videos?
Absolutely! We encourage that you do. If you post to social media please tag us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X.
If you’d like to photos and videos for press, media and commercial purposes please email reception@winchester-cathedral.org.uk stating the time, date and purpose of your request and you’ll be directed to the most appropriate contact.
I have an accessibility query, who can I contact?
If your accessibility query isn’t covered on this page, please email visits@winchester-cathedral.org.uk.
I've booked a group visit, but have questions about catering packages, who do I speak to.
We look forward to welcoming your group. We’d love to assist with your catering requirements. Please contact our hospitality team at hospitalitywinchestercathedral@baxterstorey.com who will be happy to help. If you’d prefer to discuss over the phone, please call 01962 857258.
Can I bring my dog?
You are very welcome to bring your assistance/ESA dog with you, we just ask that your ESA dog has a clear piece of working equipment (collar or harness) which notifies staff and other visitors that it is a working dog. You can read more about accessibility here.
Aside from assistance dogs, well-behaved dogs are welcome inside the cathedral too. Dogs must always be kept on leads and you must not leave your dog unattended. Dogs are not permitted at services, tours, workshops, the Morley library, Crypt or inside the café (there is outdoor seating at the Café where dogs are welcome!).
Will photography/filming be taking place?
It is possible that Winchester Cathedral and invited press will be filming and taking photographs throughout the experience. Please speak to a member of staff onsite if you wish to opt out.
